The Cole Art Photo Grant Program was created by photographer Dana Cole as a heartfelt way to give back to her fellow photographers, helping them continue to create their amazing photo art. ‘‘Photography is all around us, whether it’s a career or a cherished hobby. With over 17 years in the photography industry, I’ve witnessed incredible changes and growth. In my own career as well as other Photographer friends and colleagues. My goal with this grant is to inspire and uplift talented photographers who share my passion for photography. Let’s continue to create and thrive together. Let’s continue to create epic art!’’.

Cole Art will be providing the following cash amounts:

  • $1000 usd to First Place Winner

  • The Winner will have their work featured on our website as well as featured across all Cole Art Grant social media accounts.

  • Winner will also have an interview article written about them on our website.

Eligibility

As a Black Woman Photographer, I’m thrilled to announce my very first grant offering!
My hope is to support and uplift another talented black photographer, helping them on their journey to create beautiful and inspiring art.

This is just the beginning. While this is the first grant, it certainly won’t be the last. There will be more opportunities for EVERYONE to apply in the future.
Let’s grow and create together!

  • Must have a body of work that can and will be reviewed.

  • Work that has been created by you as the Photographer.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Open to Photographers Worldwide.

**Please note, by entering to become a Winner of the Grant, you are giving Cole Art Grant the permissions to showcase your images on our website or social media platforms. There will be no selling of your images to any 3rd party vendors and you retain ALL copyright of your images!

To Apply

The application process is very simple. Please be sure you follow ALL guidelines to ensure an accepted entry and application.

  • 7-15 digital images of your best work (Must be JPEG. Maximum of 3000 px on the longest side.)

    ALSO INCLUDE;

  • Your Bio

  • A Statement about your work

  • How do you plan to use the grant money to further your Photography?

WHO ARE THE JUDGES

Dana is a Beauty and Portrait Photographer based in Oslo Norway.
She is also an Official Nikon Creator with Nikon Europe.
Also Head of Cole Curated, Cole Art Backdrops and other creative ventures.

Originally from Texas, she moved to Norway in 2009. She enjoys being involved in the Photography community and helping her fellow photographers when she can.

Photography and the Arts is not only Dana’s career, but her favorite hobby.
